New Releases: The New AMF Bowling Ball Lineup!

Tuesday, June 30th, 2009

Howdy!

AMF has just unveiled their new Lineup of bowling balls for this season, and there are some really exciting pieces!

First is the AMF 300 Sideways!

Sideways

This follow up to the AMF 300 Mega Friction will give you two of the most defined ball movements on the market. the Mega Friction hooks as early and as hard on oil as anything ever made. And the AMF 300 Sideways is true to it’s name, it goes long and makes an extreme snap on the backend!

__________

Next up is the new AMF 300 Clutch!

Clutch

This ball is going to be one of the best balls of the year, in my opinion. Expect the AMF 300 Clutch to get through the heads smoothly and make a very strong but predictable motion in the middle and back parts of the lane. Exactly what you need in the clutch. And the Clutch won’t let you down!

__________

AMF has also added 2 new lines to their Entry Level arsenal, the Hype and Smoke lines!

The Hype series features the AMF 300 Hype Ocean Pearl Reactive and AMF 300 Hype Solid Black Urethane!

Hype Ocean Pearl Reactive

The Smoke series introduces the AMF 300 Smoke Green/Black and AMF 300 Smoke Purple/Red!

Smoke Green/Black

Both lines will give beginning bowlers great options to take their games to the next level, or for advanced bowlers to used on challenging dry conditons!

Thanks AMF for some great products! We can’t wait to see these things go down the lane!

*These balls are scheduled for release on 7.6.09

New Release: Storm Natural Bowling Ball!

Monday, June 15th, 2009

As technology advances in bowling it seems that bowling balls hook more and more each year. Reactive resin coverstocks have taken the ability to hook the ball to another level. Since we entered the 21st century there has been a large outcry for a bowling ball that is controllable on lighter oil patterns. Even entry level reactives are too strong and unpredictable on dry lanes sometimes. Well Storm Bowling has answered the call with the Storm Natural!

Natural

Storm has taken the technology that was in use before reactive resin, urethane, and updated it in the new U2S Urethane coverstock. Urethane balls are very smooth and predictable and don’t have the hook potential of reactive balls. This is great for drier lanes and when the lanes get squirrely. Storm has combined the U2S with the newer technology of the Turbine core which is used in the Storm Street Rod, Storm Street Rod Pearl, Storm Fast and Storm Furious!

Many people, including myself, have been begging for a urethane ball for years! Well we finally got our wish! The release date for the Storm Natural is June 25th!
