New Release: Hammer Black Widow Nasty

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

It’s about to get nasty.

Hammer bowling is pulling out all the stops for what will be the final addition of the legendary Black Widow line, the Hammer Black Widow Nasty.

Black Widow Nasty

The Hammer Black Widow Nasty will be the longest, strongest and most angular Widow ever released. Getting this thing to turn over on the backend definitely will NOT be a problem! The perfect compliment to the Hammer Black Widow Sting! The combination of the high RG Widow Core with a lower Mass Bias rating, the new offset Cover-Puck Technology and the new Violent Wheel Reactive coverstock, this bowling ball is seriously dangerous! Or should we say… NASTY!

Available in 12 to 16 pounds, the final Black Widow will release Dec. 15, 2009 – just in time to have it wrapped and ready for Christmas!

New Release: JACKED Raw Hammer

Wednesday, November 4th, 2009

Early revs and strong mid-lane read make the most aggressive mid-priced ball in bowling. Get JACKED and jack up the competition.

Raw Hammer Jacked

Two legendary features create the most aggressive mid-priced ball in bowling. The Hammer Raw Hammer Jacked uses the Assault core to give the bowler early revs and strong mid lane read. And, with the original Black Widow’s Violent Reactive Coverstock this ball will JACK UP the competition. Finished at 1000 grit Abralon you’ve got one beast of a bowling ball.

*Scheduled Release Date is 12/01/09

New Release: Hammer Jigsaw!

Thursday, June 18th, 2009

Alright Hammerheads,

Is your arsenal missing a piece of the puzzle? Well you can add the perfect piece by adding the ball with the missing piece – new Hammer Jigsaw!

What do I mean by missing piece? Well the Jigsaw features the brand new Jigsaw core in which Hammer removed a wedge from the core. This created the highest Mass Bias ball ever from Hammer! The high mass bias will create the most aggressive backend reaction in Hammer’s history!

Also, the new Gription Reactive 5/4 coverstock fits perfectly with the Jigsaw core. This sanded ball has a 500/4000 abralon finish, which it is sanded with 500 grit and then finished with 4000 abralon. In essence what this does is give the ball a 500 grit finish with a smooth surface. This will get the ball through the heads in order to give the Jigsaw core and the 500 grit room to fly on the backend!

Hammer really put on their thinking caps for this ball, and I can’t wait to see the Hammer Jigsaw roll down the lane!

The Hammer Jigsaw will be released on July 14th!

New Releases: Hammer Black Widow Sting, Vibe Onyx, Raw Hammer Burn, and Razyr Bowling Balls!

Wednesday, May 20th, 2009

Okay Hammerheads, here’s what you’ve been waiting for… the New Hammer bowling balls are on their way!

This season’s crop will have a ball for all the conditions you will run into!

First on the list is the newest addition to the Black Widow Line – The Hammer Black Widow Sting!

When the original Black Widow was released it was an absolute smash hit. The ball motion was like nothing ever seen, It was like a hockey puck type shape. Good length with an extremely strong backend, but still very controllable! Now imagine that same ball motion, but much stronger! That’s what you’re going to get with the Hammer Black Widow Sting!

Hammer is also releasing a new ball for the Vibe Line -The Hammer Vibe Onyx!

You Hammer fans are going to love this ball! The Vibe Line has been known for offering great performance at a very good price, and the Hammer Vibe Onyx will be no exception! This ball will bring back the motion of the Blue Vibe only stronger! This ball will give you a smooth controllable arc throughout the wh0le lane, which is great for when the lanes get tough!

The Raw Hammer Line has been known for two things – Great reaction and great colors!  Well it’s time for the newest entry – The Hammer Raw Hammer Burn!

The Hammer Raw Hammer Burn will give you great length just like the Hammer Raw Hammer Psycho, but with a more angular look to the pocket! Another sure winner for Hammer!

Most bowlers have an achilles heel, and for most bowlers it is dry lanes. I know it is for me! Well Hammer has expanded on their Razyr Line with another dry lane favorite – The Hammer Razyr Black/Red!

The Hammer Razyr Black/Red will glide through the heads and make a strong but controllable move on the back part of the lane. No more achilles heel!

Stay tuned for more info and release dates on these new beauties!

Hammer Emerald Vibe Review

Wednesday, September 17th, 2008

This review is on the newest addition to Vibe line, the Hammer Vibe Emerald!

In my opinion, the Vibe line is the best that Hammer offers. This isn’t meant to take away from the Widow Series or Raw Hammers, but the Vibes are unbelievably versatile.

I’ve drilled many of these for customers, and as a pro shop operator the Hammer Vibe Emerald is a dream. This ball can be anywhere from a light oil ball for when the lanes break down and you need something to clear the heads, or it can be great on longer patterns depending on how I drill it. I love that. I love when I’m able to use a layout and actually have the ball respond to it the way I want it to. The Hammer Vibe Emerald is a little less skid/snap than the Hammer Cherry Vibe, which is great if your THS has screaming backends, or if you’re bowling a lot of sport conditions. If the Hammer Vibe Emerald went to high school, it would’ve been voted Most All-Around :)

For the price and proven performance of the Vibe Series, you can’t go wrong with the Hammer Vibe Emerald!
