New Release: Brunswick C.(System) 2.5!

Monday, August 24th, 2009

C (System)2.5

After more than 18 months of research, development, and extensive lab and field tests, Brunswick is proud to introduce the newBrunswick C (System)2.5 bowling ball, developed in close collaboration with Hall of Fame bowler Carmen Salvino. In addition to being a legendary bowler, Salvino conducts scientific research and holds multiple patents related to bowling ball design.

This new line of performance bowling balls features Chemical Friction Technology (CFT). As Salvino explains, “The coverstock was chemically designed to have shaped molecular structures that produce a high coefficient of friction. Because of the shape of the molecule, when the ball goes into rolling friction, which occurs at the back part of the lane, slippage is eliminated and the ball will give you maximum entry and carry. This is the advantage of chemical friction versus mechanical friction.

“The chemistry is versatile enough that even if sanded or polished, it will not change the shape of the molecule. That is the uniqueness of this chemistry.”

The Chemical Friction Technology in the new Brunswick C (System)2.5 is a difference you can feel!

With it’s 4000 grit micro-pad finish and I-Block core (designed to be strong and very readable), the Brunswick C (System)2.5 will get through the heads cleanly and make a strong and predictable move on the back part of the lane.

Brunswick has really put lots of research and development into this release, and we think this will be one of the best balls they’ve ever produced!

Projected release date for the Brunswick C (System)2.5 is September, 29th!

The New Brunswick Wild Thing Bowling Ball!

Wednesday, May 13th, 2009

Wild Thing

Brunswick’s newest addition, the Brunswick Wild Thing is sure to make the competition go crazy! I don’t have a lot of information on this ball yet, but I’m sure it will be the perfect compliment to the Brunswick Wild Ride! This ball should hook up a little sooner and give you a stronger but more controlled backend reaction for heavy oil. If your Brunswick Wild Ride would sometimes go a little too long, then you’ll love putting a Brunswick Wild Thing in your hand!

Here’s what Brunswick is telling us about the ball:

Core
The new ultra low RG Paragon core in Brunswick’s new Wild Thing bowling ball was designed with two intentions. First, lower the RG to create a faster revving core that will provide improved mid-lane traction. And second, raise the RG differential to increase the track flare potential which will generate more overall hook with standard layouts and the use of interchangeable thumb sleeves.

Coverstock
The Wild Thing utilizes ConneXion coverstock known for its unbelievable traction response from foul line to head pin. The aggressive connection of the Wild Thing to the lane surface inspires confidence in the ball reaction that allows bowlers to play the lanes the way they want to.

Ball Motion
The Wild Thing and its new ultra low RG core system improves the adhesion of ConneXion coverstock to accelerate the response to friction and turn its attack loose on the pins. This core/coverstock combination allows the Wild Thing to generate a shape never seen before in the Brunswick line.
Brunswick Wild Thing… I Think I Love You!!

Sale of the Month: Twisted Fury Pearl and Solid!

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009

Hey guys,

We’ve got an amazing deal for our deal of the month for May! We are offering the Brunswick Twisted Fury and Brunswick Twisted Fury Solid for $119.99! These ball originally retailed for $199.99!

Twisted Fury

The Twisted Fury Pearl will get down the lane with ease and make a strong but controllable move to the pocket.

The Twisted Fury Solid is the perfect compliment to the Pearl because it can handle more oil and will start up much sooner than the pearl. Both balls use the Torsion Asymmetric Core, which is one of Brunswick’s strongest cores to date!

You can come get one of each, and when the solid starts to hook up a bit too early switch to the pearl! That way you can keep that string of strikes going the rest of the night!

Brunswick Swarm Review

Friday, October 31st, 2008

This review is on a great new ball, the Brunswick Swarm!

Swarm

The Brunswick Swarm uses the pearl version of the most successful coverstock in bowling history, the Powrkoil 18, as well as the new medium RG Honeycomb core. If you need a ball that really gets down the lane, I don’t see anything on the market that does this better than the Brunswick Swarm! This ball gets through the heads with ease which helps once the lanes start to dry out. However, once the Swarm gets down the lane, this ball really makes a hard turn. This will allow you to benefit from angles that your competitors might not be able to play. We all love an advantage, don’t we? Brunswick is really helping out the bowling community by offering high performance equipment and a great price! With the world’s financial situation Brunswick is helping us get the reactions we need for much cheaper! Get the Brunswick Swarm and “sting” the competition!

Thanks Brunswick for another great release!
